I was born 14th January 1973, the youngest of 3 daughters and was told at 15 that my father wasn't 'that' upset that I wasn't a boy. I lived with my parents in Dorset until leaving Sherborne School for Girls when I spent 6 months in Los Angeles working for a film company and being asked if I was Australian. Once I returned from America I drank through a Business Studies degree at South Bank University in London. After graduating I got a job lecturing at Thames Valley University Business School and started supporting Brentford football club, who have done miserably ever since.

I've always enjoyed travelling, and after meeting up with Sam again at a mutual friend's wedding, I volunteered for this Expedition to Sydney. I had been looking for a change and this sounded a lot better than a 9-5 job. Although I'm looking forward to leaving England for sunnier climes, I will miss the stand-up comedy scene in London, and Rimski, my dog, who has moved to Dorset to torment my parents' animals.
