I was born on the 7/9/77 in Hastings, Sussex. At the age of 3 I moved to a small village called Horsington in Somerset. I went to the primary school in the village, I then went to King Arthur's secondary school in Wincanton. I took 9 GCSEs and then went to Yeovil College where I did a diploma in Nursery Nursing which took 2 years.

I got a job as a Nanny immediately after leaving college. I looked after 2 girls and stayed with the family for just over 2 years. I stopped working in June 1998 and since then have done some part time work in between working towards the Expedition.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and swimming. I spend a lot of time socialising with friends and love meeting new people. I have no dislikes as such, but I don't like being on my own.

I love travelling though it is difficult to fit it in when working full time. However, over the past year I have been to Israel, Zimbabwe and several trips to Europe (France and Spain).

I heard about the Expedition last October and fully committed myself earlier this year. I have always wanted to travel and lots of my friends have, so when this opportunity came up I knew it was one I couldn't miss out on.
